You may have noticed my lack of posts this past week. This was due to the AWESOME vacation Rob and I took with his parents to Alaska and Canada. It was great!! I've decided to do a post about each port we visited. Alaska is so scenic -I took over 500 pictures! We are happy to be back home. A HUGE Thanks to Cousin Paulie who took excellent care of our house and our dog while we were away. (despite the fact that Sunny woke her every morning at 430am for breakfast!) Thanks cousin! We love you!
Meanwhile.... back at the remodel....Lots of things were done while we were away. Look- there's a roof !
And a porch!! The window was removed and the space for the door was cut.
The window on the inside was removed, and this will be the entrance to the new bath. You can see the framing of the walls that has been done inside. (Yes, the curtain rod will be coming down.)
This will be the door to the 'pool bath' (which is the old master bath). The saw cut of the block has been done. Now the window and the block need to be removed and replaced with a door. 
What a difference a week makes! Next post will be all about Alaska. Here's a taste of the beautiful scenery:
